Land Acknowledgment

As professionals involved in land, property, and development across Saskatchewan, we acknowledge that all real estate activity takes place on the traditional territories of the First Nations and Métis peoples who have been the original stewards of these lands since time immemorial.

We recognize that Saskatchewan is home to the historic Numbered Treaties, including Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10, and we honor the diverse First Nations and Métis communities whose deep relationships with the land continue today. We acknowledge their enduring rights, cultures, and contributions, and we recognize that our work takes place on lands shaped by their histories, caretaking, and knowledge.

In our role within the real estate sector, we commit to approaching land, housing, and development with respect, responsibility, and a willingness to learn. We aspire to build relationships that support reconciliation, foster equitable access to housing and land opportunities, and contribute to communities in ways that honor Indigenous presence—past, present, and future.
